I will overwhelm 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Ex twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Mentality

"I will damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning huge earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters participated in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
